Summer in the Arlberg region |
In the summer, Pettneu is the ideal starting point for a diverse range of hikes along 300 kilometres of marked trails and mountain bike paths of all levels of difficulty. Conquer the mountain on shank's mare or two wheels, at your own pace or at high-Alpine speed, climb or pedal up to the top of towering peaks or relax in a cosy Alpine inn. Discover gigantic mountain ranges and emerald green lakes. You will be rewarded by an unforgettable view that reaches from the Bavarian Allgäu all the way to the impressive Swiss Eastern Alps. Particularly noteworthy is our own mountain, the Riffler, which, at 3,168 km above sea level, makes any mountain climber's heart beat a little faster.
Families and younger guests will find a variety of things to do here. Stroll along the WunderWanderWeg ("trail of wonders") or swing like Tarzan through the trees at the Verwall high and low ropes course. The diverse entertainment and recreational program of the Arlberg region offers the youngest of our guests carefree holidays filled with smiles and laughter. Even golfers are met with an exciting challenge at the 9-hole golf course in Nasserein thanks to its hillside location, offering a completely new perspective of the breath-taking backdrop of the impressive Arlberg mountain peaks.
Attention all adventurers: the Arlberg region is one of extremes! Experience nature up close and the thrill of adventure during a rafting or canyoning tour, or take a tandem flight on a paraglider or hang-glider. Climbers who embrace heights will find the via ferrata Arlberg Kletterstieg to be one of the most challenging routes in the Alps. After this much fun and excitement, take some time to relax at ARLBERG-well.com, the wellness and leisure centre in St. Anton or at Wellnesspark Arlberg Stanzertal in Pettneu. |
